I love to garden and explore other gardens when I travel.  These are some gardens on my to-view list!

A favorite local garden that I visit frequently is Ladew Gardens in Monkton, Maryland.  There are gardens, trails, a butterfly house and meadow, and the famous topiaries.

Somewhere I am hoping to visit this spring or summer is Chanticleer, a garden outside of Philadelphia. I follow them on Instagram and find the garden design to be very inspiring!

A garden that intrigues me every time I see it written about is the Jardin Majorelle in Marrakech.  Once owned by Yves Saint Laurent, it is now open to the public.  I would love to see it in person some day.

Rhodes was another stop on our cruise around the Greek islands.  We docked right outside the city walls of Rhodes, but spent the morning exploring Lindos before going into the Old Town of Rhodes.

Colder weather always has me thinking back to past summer travel.  Last summer, I started off a wonderful trip to Greece with a short stay in Athens.  I ended up liking it so much, I can't wait to return for a longer visit.  With only a brief bit of time there before boarding a cruise, we made sure to prioritize visits to the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum.

Have you ever wanted to try a cooking class while traveling?  I took a macaron baking class one spring in Paris and it was a great new experience in a city I had visited several times before.  I would love to try another cooking class in other destinations.  Here are some ideas!

First, take a look at the cooking school where I took my macaron class, La Cuisine in Paris.  They offer many classes in English and the instructor was terrific.

Food, wine, and Tuscany?  Yes, please.

Maybe take a class with Gwyneth?  These look amazing...although also a bit extravagant!
